Hi! We're Caleb & Heidi Kelly. We have a blended family & live in Central Texas. We love Jesus, our family, & dearest friends, who are family. Here's a little glimpse into the heart behind Jack & Charlie.
Jack & Charlie was birthed from a servant heart. Named after my beloved parents, Jack & Charlie, who both battled terminal cancer, & ‘graduated’ to Heaven in 2023, just 3 short months apart. They both lived incredibly humble, servant-hearted lives. It is an honor & privilege to be their eldest daughter. A privilege I definitely didn't deserve, & will treasure ‘til I see them again.
I've spent the majority of my life caring for others. 30+ years of nanny/caretaking experience led to this space! As a caretaker, I've often stood in the gap of sacred spaces. Whether caring for young children or for my own family, I've always felt called by The Lord to be the hands & feet of Jesus.
With over 20+ years of experience in the electrical trade, my husband, Caleb brings skill & expertise to almost every challenging situation he walks into! He's the friend, his friends call, to “fix” stuff. Joking, he's a “jack of all trades”… Ironic since my Dad was the same & his first name was Jack! It's one of the many qualities I love about my husband. His heart & love for people is unmatched. The Lord has blessed him exceedingly & abundantly with gifts & talents in this space & beyond! He's also an incredible musician, professional drummer, but I digress… Love you, babe. Thankful for you & the wisdom & insight you bring to this space!
Growing up, my father would often tell me I had a ‘heart the size of a 5 gallon bucket’. I'm a farm girl from western Kansas, 5 gallon buckets are almost like duct tape. A tool designed with a specific purpose, but can also be multi-purposed! I can't help but think, he spoke those words over me as a child, to breathe life into this very space. Thanks Dad. In his later years, as he battled terminal cancer, he referred to me as his ‘right arm’. Reliable. Dependable. Always by his side. His #1 caretaker. I'm so grateful to God for creating that space & gifting us that time.
